Lifeline is the BBC’s monthly television charity appeal, which has been raising money and profile for hundreds of charities for more than 20 years, and Home-Start is thrilled to be featured this time.
Debra spent time talking to Home-Start families, groups and volunteers during the filming of this appeal and says: “Being a parent of two small children myself, I know how difficult it can sometimes be. Lots of parents struggle to cope, for many reasons and that’s where Home-Start steps in. It’s a great idea that is so effective, parents supporting other parents in their own homes. I’m really pleased to be presenting a Lifeline appeal for such a worthwhile charity.”
If you are able to, please watch the programme on Sunday – it will give you a real insight into the work of Home-Start, and show just how much your support is benefiting so many families.
