When the economy started to slide Eddie and I decided that, whatever happened, we must be organised when it came to our own local marketplace. As a response to this we advertised full page in the local newspapers giving away 70 boxes of free muffins to local business owners.

This worked well, along with leaping about town as a giant carrot and green pea (to visibly represent the peas and carrots nature of our website and graphic design ranch) and with a bit of networking, being finalists in business of the year our folk brand started to get noticed…

INTRODUCTORY SET OF 4

So, job done there…more networking and advertising ticking over nicely…but then we wanted to create a simple product set that provided real value for a new or an established business that wanted to try a new venture.

We decided that a marketing plan, followed by a brand, website and then finally a tool to promote cost effectively and measurably in the form of our ever so popular E-Newsletter would be a great product set.

We have created a pricepoint which we recognise isn’t the bloomin’ cheapest in the marketplace but what we offer is a logical set of products that one team of folkers could work on together collaboratively with the client. The quality of the product and the flexibility we offered couldn’t be bought off the shelf and the ranch is small enough for clients to build a rapport and get to know the folkers properly.
We also see the 4 as the first rung in the ladder for some, we’d like them to remember their babysteps with us and happily go on to the rest of our portfolio as we all grow together…

RESELLER FOLK

Now that the product set has been defined (and there will be many more to come…) we are offering self employed and even business owner folk to help promote the Kimeera Folklaw and be handsomely rewarded in the process. At the moment the recruitment procedure is pretty straightforward without any need for any upfront investment…Eddie and I can explain in more detail without giving the game away completely!

Wiltshire, Derbyshire and Norfolk resellers are live with another 20 resellers being nurtured at the moment including plenty in Lincolnshire, Gloucester, Manchester and Stafford.

So, lots, to do, not enough time and a world of great things to accomplish (especially when we’re truly national – as opposed to just having clients all over the country – and we can work with the likes of homestart properly and in a co-ordinated fashion!!! Even the Academy is showing early stages of formation…so v. exciting)
